Food For Thought Catering is proud to offer our fabulous food and services in a variety of ways to fit your needs whether it be a Full Service Event, a Delivery and Set-Up, or a Do It Yourself Package.

Menu Prices

Because we strive to bring you the highest quality ingredients available, our pricing may fluctuate from time to time based on market conditions. We calculate our pricing based on current market price and the quantity you are ordering. This method of pricing ensures that you will always receive the best value possible when placing your order. Please feel free to contact our Sales Manager with any questions that you may have.

Most menu items are priced individually and are based on a specific portion per person. This means that if you are ordering Filet Tips for 50 people you will literally receive 50 appropriate portions of the entree item, as opposed to receiving a "Tray" of Filet Tips that feeds 45 to 55 people. This method eliminates any grey area, and greatly reduces the risk of running out of food during your event. Our Sales Manager will be happy to discuss with you the portions and quantities that are recommended to accomodate your guests.

Full Service

We will gladly provide you with Serving Staff, Bartenders, and Chefs that will do everything neccessary to create the perfect event, from start to finish. The price per staff member is $150 and is based on a 3 hour event. The set-up and clean-up of our equipment is also included in the price. Overtime is calculated at $25 per hour.

Delivery & Set-Up

Delivery orders must be placed 5 days prior to the event date; however we strongly encourage you to give us as much notice as possible. If you have an impromptu event and need to place a last minute order with us, please do not hesitate to call. We will do everything in our power to accomodate your needs. You would be amazed at what we are able to do for you at a moment's notice!

Pick-Ups

You may order food to be picked up during normal business hours Monday thru Friday.

Weekend pick-ups can be arranged as well, but additional charges may apply.

Rentals

Food for Thought offers an extensive selection of equipment for rent, including but not limited to linens, tables, chairs, and tents. Contact our Sales Manager for details and pricing.

Gratuity

Gratuity for our Staff is never included in our menu pricing and invoicing. However, tips are considered proper and are always greatly appreciated by our staff. Please pay the server directly, or if you wish, we can include it on your invoice at your request.

Deposit and Payment

A minimum deposit of 50% of the total price of your event is required to confirm an order and secure pricing. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT. Payments with Personal Check must be received 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE. Payments with Cash or Credit Cards must be received 3 BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE. Unpaid balances will be subject to Penalties, Interest, or Both. Corporate Accounts are available.

Order Confirmation

To confirm an order, we MUST have a signed "TERMS AND CONDITIONS" contract and receive the REQUIRED DEPOSIT for that event.
Final menu and guest count is due 5 business days prior to your event. At this point, we cannot accept cancellations or deletions, as the ordering process, planning and scheduling has already begun. Additions can usually be made up to the day before. Just call and we will make every effort to accommodate you!

In addition to the menu, we are happy to customize a menu to fit your needs. Whether you are having a wedding, a cocktail party, corporate breakfast, or a summer picnic, we have menu ideas that will amaze you. Please just let us know of your specific needs.
